Confirmed booking
A journey accepted through the operator’s authoritative booking process, with an explicit confirmation.
Conversion
A defined useful action, such as a qualified enquiry or a completed booking. Its meaning should be stated in each report.
Google Business Profile
The business information an operator manages for its presence on Google Search and Maps.
Human handoff
The transfer of an enquiry or task to a person, with enough context to continue it.
API
A documented interface through which software can request data or actions from another system.
Middleware
Software that connects systems, validates information and manages the flow between them.
Source of truth
The system designated as authoritative for a particular fact, such as an accepted booking or current fare.
Idempotency
A way to prevent repeated delivery of the same request from creating duplicate actions.
Attribution
The method used to relate an enquiry or booking to a source or campaign, including known measurement limits.
Qualified enquiry
An enquiry that meets an agreed definition of useful demand for the operator.
Web booker
An online interface used to request or make a journey booking through a supported operating process.
